Custom Field Template plugin （カスタムフィールドテンプレート）というプラグインはカスタムフィールドの入力を支援するプラグインだ。あらかじめカスタムフィールドのテンプレートを登録しておくことでキーをその都度入力することなく、テンプレートにある項目の値を入力していくだけでよくなる。このCustom Field Templateというプラグインは、WordPressのカスタムフィールドを多用し、決まったデータを入力し公開しているようなサイトでは便利になるはずだ。

特徴

Custom Field Template pluginは、Joshua Sigarさんが開発したrc:custom_field_guiというプラグインをベースに改良を加えたものである。rc:custom_field_guiからの変更点は以下のとおり。

  • カスタムフィールドのテンプレートを登録し、投稿ページでテンプレートを切り替えられる。
  • カスタムフィールドのテンプレートは設定ページで登録する。iniファイルは使用しない。
  • 投稿だけでなくページでもカスタムフィールドを利用できる。
  • textareaでのtinyMCEのサポート

必須条件

WordPress 2.1 以上 （WordPress 2.2.3以降でしか確認してない。）

インストール

  1. Custom Field Templateをダウンロードし、圧縮ファイルを解凍後、custom-field-templateディレクトリをwp-content/pluginsディレクトリにアップロードする。
  2. WordPressのプラグインページでCustom Field Templateを有効化する。
  3. 管理メニューの設定にある、カスタムフィールドテンプレートにて、テンプレートを登録する。

使用方法

ここではテンプレートの設定方法を記す。基本的にrc:custom_field_guiのものと同じ。まずはサンプルを見てもらおう。

まず、一つのセクションが一つのカスタムフィールドを指している。[]で囲まれているのがカスタムフィールドのキーである。typeには、textfield、checkbox、radio、select、textareaが指定できる。その他、size、value、default、rows、colsが適宜適用できるようになっている。とりあえず、色々試してみてほしい。

カスタムフィールドの入力は、投稿・ページの作成・編集時にテンプレートが表示されているはずなのでそこから行う。テンプレートはセレクトボックスで切り替えられるようになっている。

カスタムフィールドテンプレートのデザイン

デザインをCSSで変更できる（0.5.1より）。以下はデフォルトの設定。

カスタムフィールドテンプレートを投稿に表示するショートコード

[cft]を投稿欄に入力するとカスタムフィールドの値をまとめて表示する（0.7より）。output = true を指定した項目のみ表示。設定できるオプションは以下のとおり。

post_id
カスタムフィールドが関連付けられているpost_idを指定する。デフォルトは現在の投稿のpost_id。

template
TEMPLATE ID。カスタムフィールドテンプレートのIDを指定する。デフォルトは0。

ex) [cft post_id=10 template=1]

[cft]ショートコードフォーマットを使用する場合

FORMAT IDが指定された場合のみ、ショートコードフォーマットが使用される。それ以外は通常表示。TEMPLATE IDは無視される。

format
FORMAT ID。ショートコードフォーマットのIDを指定する。デフォルトはなし。

最後に

rc:custom_field_guiは古くからあるプラグインだが、すでに更新されておらず、もうひとつ使い勝手がよくなかった（設定を変更するのに一々iniファイルを編集する必要があった、など）。このプラグインを使用することで、データベース的に情報を整理するのにWordPressを利用している方の入力を少しでも楽にできればと思う。何か不具合とか、こういう機能を追加してほしい、というのがあればぜひ連絡してほしい。

The Custom Field Template plugin adds the default custom fields on the Write Post/Page. The template format is almost same as the one of the rc:custom_field_gui plugin. The difference is following:

  • You can set any number of the custom field templates and switch the templates when you write/edit the post/page.
  • This plugin does not use the ini file for the template but set it in the option page of the plugin.

Install

  1. Copy the `custom-field-template` directory into your `wp-content/plugins` directory
  2. Activate the plugin through the `Plugins` menu in WordPress
  3. Edit the options in `Settings` > `Custom Field Template`

How to use

This is the example of the template. The template format is basically same as the one of the rc:custom_field_gui plugin.

Each section means one custom field. The key of the custom field is between []. The types are textfield, checkbox, radio, select, and textarea. There are some other arbitrary options: size, default, value, rows, and cols. Just do by trial and error.

CSS design for custom field templates

You can change the design of custom field templates by use of CSS in the setting page. This is the default CSS.

Shortcode Format is applied only if the format attribute is set. TEMPLATE ID is ignored.

format
FORMAT ID. The defalut is null.

    wordpress3.2.1にて大変便利に使わせていただいていたのですが、IEでのみ記事の本文に挿入した画像が記事の保存後消える、文字入力の挙動がおかしくなる、ビジュアルエディタで編集してHTMLエディタに切り替えると編集内容が反映されていない、といった現象が起きています。
    まれにうまく編集、保存ができる、という感じです。

    ChromeやFirefoxでは問題ありません。（サイトの制作中はChromeで確認していました）
    Custom Field Template pluginを有効にした場合のみ上記の現象が起きています。もちろん他のプラグインとの兼ね合いもあるかもしれませんが。

    もし何か原因となりそうなことがありましたらご教授頂ければ幸いです。Win XPのIE7,IE8、Win7のIE8で確認しています。

    テンプレートのセットは二種類、それぞれ特定のカテゴリーでのみ使用するように設定しています。（TEMPLATE #0 は無効にして新規で２つ作っています）

    今回、Wordpress3.2.1でこちらのプラグインをインストールしたのですが、記事投稿の際に、該当するカテゴリーIDのカテゴリーを選択してもカスタムフィールドが表示されません。

    古いバージョンのプラグインを試してみましたが、同様に表示されないようです。

    どうしても分からない不具合がありましたので質問します
    何卒、解決策をご教授ください

    ある特定の条件でその不具合が発生しました。

    ■環境
    WordPress ver:2.9.2
    Custom Field Template　ver:1.9.3
    サーバー:php5.1.6/MySQL5.0.45

    ■不具合
    ブラウザがIE8、新規投稿画面・編集画面にて
    複数テンプレートを設定後、テンプレート名セレクト⇒「読込」ボタンをクリックしてもテンプレートの切替をしない
    （右側に読込み中のプリロード画像は表示されますが、プリロード終了してもなにも表示しません、エラーメッセージもなし）

    ※ただし、IE8以外のFirefox,Chrome,Safari,Operaは問題なく動作します。
    ※PHP Version 5.2.17 のサーバーではIE8でも問題なく動作しました。

    ブラウザの問題なのか・・・それともPHP Versionの問題なのか・・・はっきりせず悩んでいます。
    どうか解決策のご教授、宜しくおねがいいたします。

    不具合が発生しています。

    ■環境
    FreeBSD8、PHP5.3.6、MySQL5.0.9、WordPress3.1.4

    ■症状
    select、text、fileを使用したカスタムフィールドを作成しました。
    新規登録の際は問題なく機能したのですが、
    キーとラベルの名前を変えて更新したら
    Fatal error: Cannot use string offset as an array
    というエラーが出ました。
    その後は一切の設定ができなくなり以前の状態に戻すことができません。
    記事の投稿すらできなくなってしまいました。
    ※上記のPHPのエラーが表示されてしまいます。

    サブカテゴリ形式でマルチサイトにしていますが、
    問題がおきたのは子供のうちのひとつだけです。
    他のサイトへの影響はありません。
    サイト全体を含め、他のプラグインは使用していません。
    一度プラグインをCustom Field Template pluginを削除して
    再インストールしたのですが、症状は変わりません。
    プラグイン自体を削除してもDBに何か残っているのでしょうか。
    DBを覗いてみても、どこを削除すれば初期状態に戻るのか分かりません。
    しかたなくWordPress自体を再インストールして元に戻ったのですが、
    同じくキーとラベルの名前を変えて更新したらまた同じ症状が出てしまいました。
    原因が分からないので困っています。

  14. 大変すばらしいプラグインをありがとうございます。

    しかし過去にこのコメント欄に書かれている物と同じエラーに遭遇しました。

    テキストエリアで沢山の文字を記入した時、保存や公開は問題なくできますが、プルダウンでカスタムフィールドを切り替え「読込」を押すと、ファイヤーバグ上でURLが長すぎてサーバから断られたエラーが確認できました。
    見た目には何も変化無い状態です。

    i try to manually* get the “_wp_attached_file” value (image path) from the postmeta database. it doesn’t work! funnily everything else does, except the values that start with an underscore (like “_wp_attached_file”) won’t work. why is that?

    this is how i try to get the value:

    $res_thumb = mysql_query(“SELECT * FROM wp_postmeta WHERE meta_key = ‘_wp_attached_file’ AND post_id = ‘$post_id’ “);
    $row_thumb = mysql_fetch_object($res_thumb);
    print $row_thumb->meta_value;

    i’ve done this a thousand times and it always worked. but when i use “_wp_attached_file” it doesn’t!

    WordPress 3.2.1

    複数のテンプレートをプルダウンで切り替え「基本情報」や「詳細情報」「その他の情報」などといった具合に使っていました。

    例えば、詳細情報にはWYSIWYGのテキストエリアが２つあり、そこに沢山の全角文字（数えていないので何文字かは解りませんが）を入力後、「基本情報」のテンプレートに戻そうとプルダウンを切り替えると、何も起こらない。

    という現象が起きました。

    Firebugで通信状況を見てみた所、プルダウンを切り替えた際、GETが送られており、GETの中はテキストエリアで入力したものと思われる「%何とか〜」がものすごい長さで続いており、それによりhttp エラー 414が返ってくるもようです。

    現在は、複数のテンプレートに分けるのをやめ、一つのテンプレートにまとめ、jQueryで区切りの見出しを上書きしたりして対応しました。
    同じ以上の文字数を入力しても、エラーになる事無く普通に使えるようになりました。

    サーバの設定が関わってくるので何とも難しい所が有るかもしれませんね。。。

    カスタムフィールドテンプレートを用いて検索を行いたいと思っているんですがわからない点が２つあります。

    １．[cftsearch]を用いて検索を行いたいんですが検索結果で名前（投稿名、検索名）などが空欄になってしまいます。

    非常に便利なプラグインで大変重宝してます。

    以前から気になっていたのですが、
    CFTを有効にして投稿画面の
    ビジュアルエディタをフルスクリーンモードにすると、
    ビジュアルエディタの「アップロード/挿入」からエディタ内に画像の挿入ができなくなるようです。

    サーバーの仕様上、wpはver2.8.6まででしか試していませんが、ver2.7以降の全てでこの不具合は発生しており、UAもie7、ie8、Fx3.x、Fx4、Chrome(13.0.782.220 m)での不具合発生を確認してます。
    たぶん、JS(というかjQuery？)のseparator絡みではないかと思いますが、どうでしょう？

    これまでのコメントにもこの件については何もなかったので、一応ご報告ということです。

    これからもがんばってください。

    TEMPLATE#0 では問題ないのですが、#1以下を「読込」をした場合 Default を読んでくれていません。
    プラグインは最新で、WP3.1と3.2 で確認しています。

    Thanks for the great plugin!

    I have just migrated a WP site to a new server, and now my CFT doesn’t seem to work properly (it worked fine on the old server!).

    Now when I choose a template when editing a post it no longer loads the correct template in the CFT panel. Some templates will autoload, some will not.

    I have tried disabling and re-enabling CFT, and also updated to the latest version.

    いつもありがたく使わせていただいております。

    WordPress Version 3.2.1

    テストサイト：heteml
    本番サイト：CPI
    ※マルチサイト機能は使用していません。

    CFTの設定画面で、テストサイトで作成したテンプレートを変更箇所のみコピーして、本番サイトにペースト、「オプションを保存」したところ、Fatal errorが表示され、公開側や管理画面でCFTを使用しているページでエラーが表示されるようになりました。

    CFTの設定画面に再度アクセスしても何も表示されない状態で、テストサイトのDBのoptionsから、custom_field_template_dataのoption_valueの値を本番サイト(この時option_valueの28行目以降がごっそり消えていました)にコピーしたところ、公開側で正常に表示される状態になりました。

    この状態で本サイトでCFTの「オプションを保存」すると、ラベル等に使用している日本語が文字化けし、公開側はエラー表示になります(文字化けしない場合もありますが、公開側ではエラーが表示されます)。

    近々CFTが絡むところに変更があり、その前処理だったのですが、「オプションを保存」するとエラーが表示される状態になってしまうので困っています。

    同じテンプレートの内容でhetemlではエラーが出ない点を考えると、サーバーの違いによるところかもしれませんが、解決の糸口等、ご教授願えればと存じます。

    cftsearchで検索した場合に限り、以下の症状が発生します。

    ・new WP_Queryの結果が出力されない
    　search.php内にシンプルなnew WP_Queryを実行しても動作しない
    　「?s=」で検索の場合は結果が出力される
    　footer内widgetに記述している場合も同様の結果
    　以下プラグインを無効化しても同様の結果

    ・プラグイン「dynamic content gallery」を作動させている場合、以下の箇所でエラー

    　SCRIPT5007: プロパティ ‘style’ の値を取得できません: オブジェクトは Null または未定義です。

    　「?s=」で検索の場合はエラーは発生しない

    `text`と`textarea`は$valueを文字列としてセットしてください。
    ex. `text` and `textarea`:

    とありますが、これでは表示されません。

    としていても、何も表示されない状態です。

    また、
    とすると、表示されるのですが、画像だけがID表示されてしまいます。
